Operating a SaaS model, they’ve built a successful business over the last 20 years and now serve over 800 customers. And with a significant investment, they’re now repositioning the whole business for further growth - something this role will instrumental in shaping.

  • The role is highly strategic but also requires someone to roll their sleeves up 

 

Key responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager; reporting into the CMO, you’ll be responsible for owning and executing on all product marketing activities to help the business realise its growth potential. Day to day you’ll be involved in;

  • Value Proposition Development; by deeply understanding their customers, the competitive landscape and industry developments create value propositions that resonate with their various persona’s (45%)
  • Product Marketing; taking the value proposition (s) and help the sales and marketing teams translate that into strategies & tactics to drive growth, as well as creating assets to help at every stage of the buying / selling process (25%)
  • Product Champion; be the evangelist internally and externally. And also the voice of the customer, so that internal teams understand what is working and what isn’t so the customers experience is improved over time (15%)
  • Go-to-Market; work with the marketing teams on go-to-market planning and ensure there’s alignment across sales and marketing (15%)

 

Skills & experience the Product Marketing Manager must have;

  • Product marketing experience gained in a B2B software environment 
  • Strong experience of research, persona building, competitor analysis and value proposition development
  • Strategic but hands on - comfortable operating in a SME
  • Excellent project management skills and a natural collaborator 
  • Degree educated - business, marketing 

 

Salary & benefits for the Product Marketing Manager role;

£75,000 - £85,000 basic + benefits
