Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 basic plus 10% bonus
Location: 3 days in the Stokenchurch Office, 2 days from home

About the company 

Established back in 1982 and run as a small family business for the first decade, the company took on it’s first employee in 1990 and sells a range of products in the DIY and home improvement categories, as well as through a B2B channel that includes specifiers, local authorities, and construction contractors. 

The company is now entering an exciting growth phase and is building a marketing team to focus on building it’s brand with consumers as well as supporting it’s existing B2B channel.   

The role

You’ll manage a newly built team of five marketers, own the marketing strategy and budget, and be responsible for helping the company achieve it’s growth goals. 

Strategy: with a focus on both B2C and B2B channels, you’ll be responsible for the marketing strategy and its successful execution

Stakeholder Management: collaborate with and support the sales team 

Brand: plan and execute activities to build brand awareness and sales with consumers (social, digital, PR, etc)

Customer Experience: create a customer experience that has personality

B2B: plan and create campaigns and sales support materials for B2B channels 

Management: manage and lead a team of 5 people

Reporting: manage and report on a £750k budget

What you will need to succeed in this role

Marketing experience in the construction, DIY or home improvement industries

Both B2C and B2B sector experience

Strong experience in social media advertising 

You’ll have used Hubspot (or similar tool) as well as tools like GA4, Google Ads Manager, and Meta Ads Manager

You’ll be an experienced people manager
