Strategic but hands-on role
For over a decade, our client has been transforming how financial institutions and payment providers reduce fraud through proprietary AI and machine learning solutions.
Last year, their success culminated in the company raising a $60 million investment round, taking the total raised to date to over £150 million.
As part of this investment, the company is building its marketing function, which is being led by their new CMO. She joined in Q4 2023.
This is a newly created role where you will own, lead, and execute a strategy to drive more revenue for the business, with a particular focus on the enterprise segment (Tier 1 banks and financial institutions).
The marketing team includes the CMO, Corporate Marketing Director (comms & content), Product Marketing Director, Revenue Operations, and a Digital Marketing Manager who can support the execution of your demand-gen campaigns.
Strategy: own, build and execute a demand generation strategy to create predictable revenue
Demand Generation: deploy end-to-end integrated campaigns across multiple online and offline channels, including themes and messaging to use across the business.
Digital: digital will be a key channel for this role, which will cover paid advertising, SEO, and social media
ABM: work closely with sales to create and execute effective account-based marketing programmes (deal sizes range from £100k to £1m and there are currently three sales people targeting banks)
Marketing Automation: with this being a scaleup, you’ll be hands-on and have to get into Hubspot and Salesforce to look at data, set up campaigns and track metrics
Stakeholder management: align the C-suite and teams across the business with your campaign plans (BDR team of 16 across different geographies)
Agency Management: there will be some marketing agency support in the role across PPC and SEO
Reporting & Budget Management: report on budget and continuously improve campaign performance
Experience owning, leading and executing demand generation campaigns to drive pipeline (you must be able to show your impact on ARR)
Track record working in the B2B fintech space, e.g. software and/or solutions to banks and financial institutions
Startup / Scaleup experience – this is a hands on role
Account-based marketing experience
Knowledge of Hubspot and Salesforce
Highly numerate, with excellent communication skills
