Key responsibilities of the Director of Demand Generation;
You’ll build the demand generation strategy and own the budget and execution, with the focus on pipeline growth for the sales team with enterprise customers. Initially targeting 80 accounts in the FS vertical, you’ll then broaden out into other verticals.
Strategy; create a demand generation plan to drive sales with enterprise customers – deal size £100k+, longer sales cycles
Account Based Marketing; create an effective account based marketing program
Demand Generation; plan and execute a variety of activities to target prospects at every stage of the funnel
Campaign Execution; work with the content marketer and product marketer to create assets to use in outbound campaigns
Management; hire 2 people in your first year
Metrics; track and report on your demand generation metrics
Skills & experience the Director of Demand Generation must have;
B2B marketing experience in the Tech space (not hardware or Telco)
You can be a manager, head of, or at director level – key is the intelligence / knowledge to build the strategy and team, while being hands on
Focus on demand generation – especially from within large customers / prospects – with a focus on account based marketing
Some experience of working for a fast growing VC backed business
Experience of using marketing automation tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – English
Excellent project management skills
The personality to engage and work well with sales
Salary & benefits for the Director of Demand Generation;
£80,000 – £100,000 basic + 10% bonus, healthcare, pension, equity
