Marketing Assistant Job Description

We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and communication activities. This role will involve a variety of activities including:

Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant

  • Helping our team with the digital marketing strategy and implementation.
  • Develop content and manage a calendar of regular social media posts to support campaigns and wider company brand awareness.
  • Be the administrative point of contact for our agency and help them find assets, e.g., logo’s, brand identity files, etc. 
  • Launching new communication campaigns.
  • Supporting other marketing and communication projects with copywriting and content creation. 
  • Setting up and executing ad campaigns on different platforms with support from our digital marketer. 
  • Proofreading articles and other communications content.
  • Assign inbound and referred leads within the CRM to the relevant sales people.
  • Event planning support: support for managing events, setting up calls, research stage support, event evaluation support, reporting, and analysis.
  • General administration as required.

Marketing Assistant Requirements

  • Either a marketing degree or some marketing experience in a full-time job.
  • Experience using Google Docs, Canva, Photoshop, or similar to create marketing assets while following brand guidelines.
  • Experience of updating content on websites via a CMS.
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
