The opportunity

Our client is hiring a Technical Product Content Specialist to take ownership of product data management and technical documentation across an extensive global portfolio.

Sitting at the intersection of technical engineering, product management, and global marketing, this role is essential for keeping product information accurate, structured, and user-friendly. You will manage central product databases and create customer-facing documentation, including technical datasheets, installation manuals, and product guides.

If you are a methodical individual who enjoys working with large datasets, has a great eye for document design, and can translate technical specifications into clear copy, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative international team.

About the company

Our client is an established global technology manufacturer operating across multiple international markets. With a broad portfolio of hardware and software solutions, they supply high-quality products to customers worldwide. They operate a modern, unified group marketing structure that combines local flexibility with central governance, offering team members great visibility and support across global operations.

What you will be doing

  • Product data governance: Maintain accurate product records within the central Product Information Management (PIM) ecosystem, managing data updates, product attributes, and version control across regions.
  • Technical documentation: Create, update, and coordinate product datasheets, installation manuals, quick-start guides, and technical specifications.
  • Process automation: Work with database publishing tools and layout software to automate bulk datasheet generation and documentation updates.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with international R&D and engineering teams to extract technical details and translate complex features into simple, accurate copy.
  • Product launch support: Gather technical requirements ahead of new product launches to ensure all documentation and collateral are ready for market deployment.
  • Digital accuracy: Keep website product specifications, categorisation, and search metadata up to date across digital platforms.

What you will need to succeed

  • Data proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel with experience managing, structuring, and manipulating large product datasets.
  • Document design eye: Familiarity with page layout tools such as Adobe InDesign or automated publishing tools to ensure technical collateral is well presented.
  • Technical translation: Ability to take complex technical information and write clean, structured English copy for end users and installers.
  • Organational mindset: A highly organized, process-driven approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaboration skills: Confident working alongside remote international teams, product managers, and technical specialists.

Ways of working

  • Hybrid model: 1 day per week in the Buckinghamshire office (Thursdays), with options for additional office days if preferred.
  • Comprehensive onboarding: Full training provided on internal product lines, systems, and cataloguing software.
  • Team environment: Work closely with both the UK marketing team and international product marketing specialists.

Application process

  1. Initial call with our recruitment team to discuss the role and your background.
  2. First-stage video interview with the UK hiring manager.
  3. Final interview with the global product leadership team.
