Responsible for the plan and budget
Our client is a global B2B technology brand, offering a wide range of services and solutions to various industry segments.
Due to deals being between £200k-£1m, the sales cycles are longer and typically won with a bid. Experience supporting this type of model with marketing would be advantageous.
You’ll own the plan and budget for your vertical, but be naturally a hands-on executer. You’ll also have the responsibility of managing a marketing executive.
Strategy: create a plan for your business unit
Budget: manage and report on ROI
Research: understand the drivers and pain points in your target audience to help inform your strategy and content creation
Content: create thought leadership content – you can use an internal resource and external PR agency to support on this
Brand Awareness: use a variety of channels (events, PR, advertising) to build awareness of the solutions
Lead Generation: create integrated online and offline campaigns to drive leads for the sales team – webinars, email campaigns, paid social media, telemarketing, events, etc.
Management: manage, coach and develop the marketing executive
B2B marketing experience with a passion for execution
Strong understanding of offline and online marketing, with experience of using CRM and marketing automation tools (this is a real all-rounder role)
This would suit someone who has experience in working for larger matrix organisations and with larger and longer deals
Knowledge of the public sector would be an advantage but not essential
Some budget management and people coaching skills would be beneficial
