The opportunity
This is not a traditional sales or operations role. It is a hybrid position for someone at the inflection point between sales development and account management. Our client is looking for a technical salesperson who can build complex CRM workflows in the morning and lead a discovery call in the afternoon.
You will support the senior sales team while building the engine that allows them to scale. A significant benefit of this role is that it does not involve cold calling. Instead, you will use modern marketing tools and LLM platforms to drive targeted outbound activity.
What you will be doing
- Build growth systems: Own the lead-to-opportunity workflow. You will be responsible for automating routing, enrichment, and data hygiene within the CRM to ensure it remains the single source of truth.
- Revenue automation: Create and deploy automations across AI tools and internal communication channels. You will build the connectivity that makes the sales process repeatable and efficient.
- Targeted execution: Research and engage with high-value targets using modern platforms. You will qualify meetings and package repeatable outbound plays using intelligent automation.
- Commercial apprenticeship: Shadow senior team members on pitches, help prepare specific deal collateral, and manage the technical aspects of platform trials.
- Growth experiments: Run multiple experiments each month, measuring results and turning successful tactics into official company playbooks.
About you
- Experience: You have 2–4 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a highly operational sales development role at a fast-moving software company.
- The builder mindset: You don’t just use tools; you build with them. You should have hands-on experience building workflows in modern CRMs and a proactive interest in using AI tools.
- Data-led: You can build simple, clear dashboards that make pipeline health and follow-up speed obvious to the leadership team.
- Communication: You write clearly and can explain complex technical processes in a simple way.
