You will lead the strategy for major industry conferences, host exclusive private dinner series for C-suite stakeholders, and build a community programme that turns users into long-term advocates.
What you will be doing
- Event strategy: Designing a global event marketing calendar including proprietary events and priority industry trade shows.
- Client socials: Organising high-end private events such as dinner series, intimate Q&A’s, and exclusive networking for senior leaders.
- End-to-end logistics: Owning everything from venue booking and planning to leading on-site execution in London and the US.
- Speaker placements: Building relationships with organisers to ensure senior stakeholders are featured at major industry events.
- Community building: Designing and executing a strategy to drive engagement and loyalty within a core user group that already loves the product.
- Content collaboration: Working with product marketing to showcase case studies and thought leadership through the events programme.
About you
- Experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in event marketing or community roles, ideally within B2B SaaS.
- Audience knowledge: Experience marketing to finance, investment, or consulting audiences is a significant advantage.
- Executive presence: You are comfortable presenting to and managing relationships with very senior stakeholders.
- Ownership mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments where you need to build processes from scratch rather than following a pre-set manual.
- AI mindset: You are interested in how AI is changing work and can show examples of how you use generative AI tools to improve your workflows.
- Communication: You have exceptional writing skills and can create everything from leadership briefings to technical product documentation.
