So what are the common pitfalls?
Lack of contact information: Having a full name, phone, email address and postcode speeds up the process so we can contact you directly.
Typos and grammatical errors: An essential aspect of marketing is communication and if you're including errors in the CV, it doesn't reflect well on your potential future work. Always ask someone else to proof read it.
PDF: This method is great for creative, digital and design roles and can help you stand out by using visuals. But it doesn't always transfer well with job boards and recruitment software. We'd recommend having a 'traditional word' version and a pdf version that can be sent directly by email. Or you can always get more creative like Brennan Gleason.
