Key responsibilities of the Product Communications Manager;
In this newly created role and reporting into the Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for creating content to communicate the platform to the existing user base to drive adoption, usage and satisfaction.
Product Communications Strategy; work closely with the Product Management team to understand the roadmap and create a product communications plan to drive adoption, usage and satisfaction.
Product Marketing; understand and define the different persona’s who use the platform and create a tone of voice for each one
Product Communications; improve the UI of the platform with great copy
Product Updates; communicate new features and updates to existing customers
Knowledge Base; own and improve their knowledge base
Learning Portal; take ownership for their learning portal that helps user understand how to use the platform
Metrics; track and report on product usage
Skills & experience the Product Communications Manager must have;
You could be a Product Marketer who’s more on the content side, or a Content Marketer / Copywriter who’s worked on a product / with a Product Management team
Experience creating a wide variety of content – product, persona’s, video, email, blog etc.
Experience in B2B Tech desirable
Excellent writing skills
Ability to communicate and work with all levels
Salary & benefits for the Product Communications Manager role;
£50,000 – £55,000 basic + excellent benefits
