Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager role;
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for implementing the marketing strategy to drive demand and pipeline. Day to day you’ll be involved in;
Strategy Implementation; you’ll implement the marketing strategy to drive demand and create pipeline
Demand Generation; plan and execute of a variety of activities (online & offline) to target prospects at every stage of the funnel (you’ll decide on tactics)
Nurture Campaigns; manage the creation of campaigns to nurture prospects through the funnel, using Hubspot
Digital; run a variety of digital campaigns – PPC, SEO, email marketing etc.
Inbound Marketing; oversee content, messaging and brand in campaigns to generate inbound leads (you’ll brief freelancers and agencies to help with content creation)
PR; own and execute PR campaigns
Sales Support; work closely with the sales team, giving them the tools and knowledge to help them achieve their goals
Skills & experience the Marketing Manager must have;
B2B marketing experience
Experience project managing integrated marketing campaigns to generate demand
Experience using marketing automation – Hubspot would be an advantage
Good digital marketing knowledge including paid ads
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with and managing internal stakeholders and external agencies
The personality to engage and work well with sales
Related qualification: marketing, PR etc.
Salary & benefits for the Marketing Manager;
£45,000 – £50,000 basic & benefits
