We’ve been retained by Xelix to find them a Head of Sales:
We have doubled revenues for two years running and become profitable. We’re now at an exciting stage in our growth and are looking to find a Head of Sales to oversee and scale our sales function.
In this role, you will hire, coach, train, and develop a team of account executives, SDRs, and pre-sales professionals, helping the business reach our ambitious goals.
You’ll collaborate closely with the founders and standards are high
We’re scrappy and chaotic (in a good way), so you’ll be comfortable with this and excited about the implementation of systems and processes.
Making decisions is important, but we don’t procrastinate. We hire bright people who want to move quickly. You will be busy.
The job is based two to three days in our office in Shoreditch.
Developing and Implementing Sales Strategy: Create and execute a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company’s goals, targeting appropriate enterprise market segments and setting clear objectives for the sales team.
Building and Directing the Sales Team: Recruit, train, and manage a sales team comprising AEs, SDRs, and pre-sales. This includes setting sales targets, monitoring performance, providing coaching and fostering a collaborative, fun and motivational team environment.
Market Analysis and Insight: Conduct comprehensive market research to understand CFO industry trends, identify emerging opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Regularly forecast future sales and provide detailed reports to the senior team members. Analyse sales data to identify trends, successes, challenges and areas for improvement.
Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with marketing, product and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client satisfaction, product improvement and the alignment of sales strategies.
Track record of managing sales teams that have consistently met and exceeded targets in an enterprise environment.
Experience managing teams using MEDDICC, value-based selling, and/or similar sales methodologies.
Experience managing sales teams with long and complex sales cycles, with multiple stakeholders.
Successful sales career in the enterprise software space before moving into a people management role.
