Role title: Head of People
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 pro-rata
Location: Hybrid: 3 days from home, 2 days from Liverpool Street, London 

Working pattern: This is a part-time role, which can be 5 shorter days or 3 full days to suit the candidate

About the company 

After strong growth, our client is now entering the next phase of growth as they go from being a startup to a scaleup. Due to this, they’re looking for an experienced people leader who can help shape the company through great people initiatives. 

There is a great foundation for you to work from, with their strong culture already in place, excellent Glassdoor ratings, and low staff attrition. 

The role

This is a newly created role where you will own, lead, and advise on all people-related strategies. 

Recruitment: Supervise the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to secure and maintain top talent.

Performance Management: Devise systems for performance evaluation and motivation, including enhancing our current 1-1 reviews, conducting 360 reviews, and providing training for managers.

Team Relations: Cultivate a positive work environment where our culture is ingrained across the organisation, addressing challenges as our team grows.

Salary and Benefits: Regularly assess our compensation and benefits package to attract and retain top talent.

Training and Development: Roll out comprehensive training and professional development initiatives that foster growth and meet business demands, with a focus on supporting middle managers and department heads.

Organisational Design: Proactively anticipate future structural needs to drive business success.

What you will need to succeed in this role

At least 5 years in a senior or head of people role 

Experience working at a B2B tech organisation that is scaling, i.e. from 50 to 150 employees 

Well-organized and great communication skills 

Degree educated 



Private medical and dental 

27-day holiday (3 to be used at Christmas)

  3. A 60 minute in-person interview with a presentation
