Are you a hands-on & strategic B2B SaaS marketer who’s excited about setting up marketing for a £3.5m ARR company? With a solid 7 years behind them and 50 employees globally, our client has been driven by the CEO to date which has its limitations. So, she’s now looking to build her leadership team out (VP Sales already onboarded) to scale the business further. Selling enterprise HR solutions into companies with 3k+ employees, they operate in a niche market with huge potential. 

Selling Points;

Great foundation to work from 

You’ll own the strategy – exciting re-brand and new website projects to deliver 

Hybrid -2/3 days in their office in Baker Street

£30k/mo marketing budget to start with the ability to hire freelancers / build a team  

Key responsibilities of the Head of Marketing role; reporting into the CEO and working closely with the VP of Sales, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing the marketing strategy to drive demand and pipeline. Day to day you’ll be involved in;

Strategy; you’ll create the marketing strategy and be responsible for its execution

Demand Generation; plan and oversee the execution of a variety of activities (online & offline) to target prospects at every stage of the funnel (you’ll decide on tactics)

Nurture Campaigns; manage the creation of campaigns to nurture prospects through the funnel, using Hubspot 

Digital; run a variety of digital campaigns – PPC, SEO, email marketing etc. 

Inbound Marketing; oversee content, messaging and brand in campaigns to generate inbound leads 

Brand; build awareness within their target market and take ownership for brand, messaging, and tone of voice 

Sales Support; work closely with the sales team, giving them the tools and knowledge to help them achieve their goals 

MarTech: bring in Hubspot (CRM & Marketing platform)

Budget; manage the budget and track & report on your demand generation metrics.

Skills & experience the Head of Marketing must have; 

B2B marketing experience in the SaaS space 

Experience marketing to enterprise 

Your core experience will be in demand generation

You’ll be able to create the plan and not too removed from execution to implement it 

Experience of using marketing automation tools – Hubspot would be a bonus 

The personality to engage and work well with sales

Salary & benefits for the Head of Marketing; 

£80,000 – £90,000 basic + pension, 22 days holiday
