Offering SME’s across various verticals unified communications and IT managed services, you’ll be instrumental to growth by planning and executing a variety of content to help the business build brand awareness and influence prospects through the buying cycle. 

Across three brands, the company has 160 employees and revenues of £30 million, but it feels much more like a startup, so you’ll need to be flexible, a self-starter, and someone who thrives in a less structured environment. 

Location: Hybrid – 1/2 days in an office; you could be based close to London, Coventry, Cheltenham or Wakefield

Key responsibilities of the Content Marketing Manager 

You’ll be working closely with the Marketing Director to plan and execute a variety of content (blogs, infographics, videos, e-guides, product collateral, etc.) to help the business build brand awareness and influence prospects through the buying cycle:

Planning: Plan, create and execute an engaging and lead-generating content strategy for key audiences and verticals

Content Creation: Partner with the marketing and sales teams to develop unique, engaging, solution-oriented content that maintains brand and product standards, voice and style

Content Marketing: Repurpose content to maximise the opportunity to influence prospects to take action

Expert-led Content: Leverage subject matter experts within the business and externally to drive and scale the production of compelling content

Analysis: Liaise with teams to align to business objectives and ensure that content delivered is commercially strategic

Skills and experience the Content Marketing Manager must have

Content marketing experience in the B2B technology sector

Experience of working in a technical IT environment with the ability to translate complex solutions into engaging content

Strong copywriting skills

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, external agencies and freelancers

Good project management skills and attention to detail

Salary and benefits for the Content Marketing Manager role

£50,000 – £55,000 basic + contributory pension, 25 days holiday
