Key responsibilities of the Content Marketing Manager;
In this newly created role and reporting into the Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for creation of a wide variety of content to drive awareness and adoption of the company’s SaaS solutions.
Content Marketing; create a wide variety of content (blogs, research reports, webinars, email campaigns, case studies) to drive awareness of the company’s services
Research; manage research projects to uncover data, trends and information to be used in long form content
SEO; optimise blogs for SEO, and create content that helps the business rank for targeted keywords
Creative; manage the creative agency so they produce assets to support the content you write
Marketing; support the wider team on demand generation campaign execution
Skills & experience the Content Marketing Manager must have;
Content marketing experience in the B2B space – you could be an executive stepping up or someone already at this level
Knowledge of technology (software, SaaS, cybersecurity) industries an advantage but not essential
Hands on experience of using marketing automation tools
Understanding of SEO
Excellent writing skills
Ability to communicate and work with all levels
Salary & benefits for the Content Marketing Manager role;
£45,000 – £50,000 basic + excellent benefits
