About the company

The role
This is a newly created role where you will be responsible for both inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting, setting up meetings between prospects and the sales team.
Inbound: initially, 50% of the role will be involved in inbound lead qualification
Outbound: looking after their sport and life sciences vertical, you’ll contact prospects through email, LinkedIn and cold calling
Sales: build relationships with prospects and communicate the proposition and benefits to set up calls for the sales team
Collaboration: work with the sales team to understand priorities

The role
This is a newly created role where you will own, lead, and execute a demand generation strategy to help drive more revenue for the business, with a particular focus on mid-market and enterprise customers.
Strategy: own and execute a demand generation strategy, including acquisition campaigns and customer marketing activities
Management: manage, coach and develop a team of 2
Demand Generation / ABM: plan and run campaigns to create demand, taking ownership of full funnel metrics from MQL to retention
Campaign Execution: manage and execute campaigns across email, web, paid, webinars, events, direct mail, etc.
Creativity: come up with creative ways to engage prospects and expand on existing customers
Customer Marketing: plan and execute customer marketing campaigns designed to retain and upsell

Planning; work alongside sales, marketing and customer success to map out the marketing systems and processes needed to help the business grow
Marketing Operations; be responsible for evaluating, implementing and managing the company’s marketing technology stack
Marketing Automation; set up the marketing automation platform (Hubspot) - lists, custom fields, lead scoring, integrations, campaign tracking etc.
Analytics; manage analytics so give the marketing team an informed idea of channel and campaign effectiveness
Data; ensure the business complies with GDPR, and introduce effective ways to enrich data

Key responsibilities of the Senior Customer Success Manager
