  • They want to shift their marketing messaging and product positioning to reflect how their customers now behave as buyers

Key responsibilities of the Head of Marketing; 

  • Strategy; implement (and localise) the global strategy to build awareness and demand for their services in the UK market 
  • Budget; manage and report on a budget of £800k
  • People management; re-focus and motivate a team of 4 across product & marketing 
  • Product; take ownership for product management, product launches & pricing 
  • GTM; create and execute the go-to-market plans 
  • Campaigns; put together integrated campaigns across email, direct mail, digital, social, web, events & PR to both acquire customers and retain them
  • Stakeholder Management; work closely with the sales team to ensure you have buy in for your campaigns and strategy, and they in turn are informed about the market, competitors and pricing 
  • Agency Management; manage the PR agency (who are underperforming)

Skills & experience the Head of Marketing must have; 

  • B2B marketing experience in the Healthcare, Medical Devices, Veterinary, Scientific or Technical industries  
  • Could be currently at Manager level or working currently as a Head of Marketing
  • Must have managed people 
  • Strong experience of working with sales teams and demonstrable experience of implementing marketing campaigns to drive sales 
  • Ambitious, good communicator, commercially astute
  • A marketing qualification  

Salary & benefits for the Head of Marketing role; 

£60 - 70,000 basic plus 15% bonus & excellent benefits
