With revenues nearing £3m and already strongly profitable combined with growing the team from three to fifteen in less than 6 months, our client is an ambitious start-up who are looking for an exit in five years.

Key responsibilities of the Head of Marketingworking closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for building brand awareness and sales with their target audience through thought leadership and account based marketing. Day to day your role will involve;

  • Strategy; own and implement the marketing plan
  • Email; implement email campaigns to both prospects and to customers to promote their services, and manage the execution from segmentation to design
  • Sales Enablement; create tools (case studies, brochures, sales information) to help the sales team go to market with
  • Brand; through an agency, manage the production of research led content and amplify that research to generate awareness of our services 
  • Website; manage the website to ensure it performs its function as an inbound platform - a new website build is also in the pipeline
  • Webinars/Podcast; create webinars and podcasts designed to build awareness, educate audiences and convert people into customers
  • PPC; establish and manage PPC campaigns, as part of a broader account based marketing program, through LinkedIn and any other suitable channels (small part of the role)
  • Content: support the creation of content through agencies and internal stakeholders - videos, blogs, infographics, collateral, webinars
  • Social; ensure all social channels are active and effective
  • Events; organise and manage presence (sponsorship, speaking engagements for leadership team) at relevant events and partner roundtables
  • Work with third parties; brief and manage third party agencies and freelancers
  • Budget; manage and report on the budget


Skills and experience the Head of Marketing must bring;

  • B2B marketing experience
  • Experience marketing complex services or products into enterprise customers
  • Self starting nature
  • Ability to work well with senior leadership team


Salary and benefits for the Head of Marketing role;

£55,000 - £75,000 basic + 10% bonus + statutory pension, 25 days holiday
