Interested in working for a heritage brand that dates back to the 1800’s? Listed on the London Stock Exchange, our client is a Heritage consumer brand dating back to the 1800’s. After investment into the business in 2018, this role will push forward on a couple of key areas for growth - a rebrand and new websites. 

Key responsibilities of the Head of Marketing; reporting to the CEO, you’ll manage a team of 2 people and be responsible for a wide variety of activities with a digital focus. Day to day you’ll be involved in - 

  • Management; manage a team of 2 direct reports
  • Strategy; you’ll own the marketing strategy and be responsible for bringing it to life 
  • Brand; lead the development of their two key brands 
  • Digital; project manage the creation of 2 new e-commerce sites and for their continued success (SEO, online acquisition, retention)
  • Marketing; be responsible for executing a wide variety of integrated marketing campaigns to build awareness and drive sales (PR, sponsorship, events, advertising)
  • Internal Communications; be responsible for the creation and end to end execution of an internal communications plan 
  • Reporting; manage the budget and report on ROI

Skills & experience the Head of Marketing must have; 

  • B2C experience for a business that sells products online
  • Industries of interest; premium retail, art, souvenirs
  • Track record of driving the success of a digital e-commerce site by working with stakeholders across design, IT, sales and marketing
  • Strong project management skills, commercially astute and financially competent 

Salary & benefits for the Head of Marketing role; 

£60,000 - £70,000 basic + benefits
