Why this role?

  • Direct financial impact: Take full commercial ownership of a high-value software line with uncapped earning potential linked directly to generated revenue.
  • Sophisticated market: Partner with global organisations in cutting-edge industries, dealing with complex engineering and manufacturing sectors.
  • High-growth environment: Receive share options in a fast-scaling, well-backed technology business.

About our client

Our client is a venture-backed enterprise software company with a modern product lifecycle management (PLM) platform. Their technology is used by global organisations to streamline and manage highly complex product development processes. Following significant customer growth, they are investing heavily in expanding one of their fastest-growing product lines.

The opportunity

This is a pure enterprise sales role for a high-performing individual contributor, supported by an SDR, although you will be expected to do your own prospecting. You will take full ownership of the commercial lifecycle, focusing entirely on driving new business and expanding existing accounts.

What you will be doing

  • Full-funnel sales: Managing enterprise sales opportunities from initial qualified lead status through to the final execution of contracts.
  • Discovery and qualification: Engaging with senior stakeholders within engineering, manufacturing, and operations to understand their operational challenges and map them to the platform’s value.
  • Commercial negotiation: Delivering compelling business cases and demonstrating clear return on investment (ROI) frameworks to senior decision-makers.
  • Internal collaboration: Working closely with internal pre-sales engineers who will handle technical deep-dives, custom demonstrations, and proof-of-concept delivery.
  • Pipeline growth: Consistently building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.

What you will need to succeed

  • PLM sales track record: Direct experience selling enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software is essential. You must understand the PLM landscape and the unique challenges prospective clients face.
  • Enterprise sales expertise: A proven background in closing complex B2B software deals with mid-market or enterprise-level organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management: The ability to lead high-level commercial negotiations and build trust with C-suite and director-level stakeholders.
  • Self-starter mindset: Exceptional autonomy and drive. You are comfortable taking complete ownership of your pipeline and commercial strategy.
